Our Coaches
Paige has been involved in the sport of skating for over 24 years. She is a double gold medalist in Moves in the Field and Dance, and passed her Intermediate Freestyle, and Novice Solo Free Dance. She grew up in the Greater Cincinnati area and competed in singles and solo dance throughout her childhood. In high school, Paige joined the Oxford Ice Crystals synchro team and discovered her passion for the discipline. Upon graduating high school, she attended Miami University and was a member of the Junior and Collegiate Varsity Synchronized Skating Teams. During her senior year, Paige began coaching and started with the Intro to Synchro team at Goggin. After graduating from Miami in 2019, Paige took a job with the Lakota Local School District as a teacher and continued coaching on nights and weekends. She has coached synchro teams of various levels for 5 years with both Miami Skating Academy and the Indian Hill Winter Club. Paige is excited to continue to see the TPE family grow and succeed!
Zak is a recent graduate of Trine University with a Bachelor of Science in Sport & Recreation. At Trine, he was a three-year team captain for Trine's Varsity Synchronized Skating Team. Zak currently sits on the U.S. Synchronized Skating Development and Technical Committee at USFS. He is also an Intern for Programming at the Goggin Ice Center and is a graduate student in Miami's Sport Leadership and Management program. Zak is excited to begin his second year with Team Precision Edge and is excited to see our program grow.
Cassandra has been a part of the ice skating community for nearly 30 years as an individual competitor, collegiate athlete, head coach, Director of Ice Skating at Goggin Ice Center, and now the Head Coach of the Miami Skating Academy since its founding in 2021.

Melissa Marchetti
Melissa is a Senior Psychology Major at Miami University and skates on the Senior Synchronized Skating team. She is from Peekskill, New York, and grew up skating on Team Image for 7 years, 3 of which were at the Junior level. Melissa has competed for Team USA since 2019 and is extremely grateful to have skated at 2 World Championships with Miami. Outside of synchro, Melissa has gold medals in Moves in the Field, Dance, and Solo Free Dance. In the future, she hopes to continue coaching and plans to attend Grad School for Clinical Psychology.

Sophia Miltenberger
Sophia is zoology major with a minor in marketing at Miami University. She skates on the Senior Synchronized Skating Team. Sophia has been skating since she was 7 years old and skated for St. Louis Synergy on their intermediate team for two years and then their junior team for 3 years. She has a gold medals in moves in the field, senior solo free dance, and ice dance. In the future, Sophia plans to continue coaching as well as getting her license in Veterinary Technology. Sophia very excited to be working with the Pre-Juvenile and Preliminary teams this year!

Caroline Yaeger
Caroline is a Senior Biology and German Major at Miami University and currently skates on Miami’s Collegiate Varsity Synchronized Skating Team. She is from Cincinnati, Ohio and has been skating since she was 3 years old when she started at Goggin’s Learn to Skate classes. She has skated for Oxford Ice Crystals, Ice Force, and Miami Skating Academy and is extremely grateful to represent Miami as a two-time National Champion. Caroline is a gold medalist in Moves in the Field, Ice Dance, and International Ice Dance. In the future, Caroline hopes to continue coaching and plans to attend Medical School. She is so excited to work with Team Precision Edge on their off ice skills this season!
